The good outweighs the bad (barely)
Great hospitality from Mark and Erica made the stay enjoyable they provided thoughtful local recommendations and personalized touches in the room.
Accessibility was a challenge due to stairs leading to rooms and limited evening snack options left me wanting more.

would book here again.
The room we stayed in had an electric kettle for making tea, a TV, and free toiletries. It also came with a hairdryer and hand sanitiser. The shower was great in the private bathroom. We had lovely towels and an alarm clock. The view was a nice bonus too. The spa facilities were quite a treat!

I had a great time at Lyonesse. The room felt cozy with thoughtful decor and clean spaces that added to the experience. Mark and Erica, the hosts, were exceptional. They made sure I had fresh milk in the room, which is a lovely touch rather than the usual UHT. The breakfast selection shone. I especially loved Mark's homemade granola and his perfectly poached eggs that were served hot and quickly. I did notice some road noise from the busy street out front, which was a bit distracting at times. while the location is a decent walk from downtown Falmouth, it wasn't ideal for late-night outings. Lastly, parking on the street could be tricky, especially during peak times. These minor issues aside, the warmth of the service truly stood out in making me feel at home.

This place was perfect for our group getaway. We loved the unique breakfast basket concept and the comfy dining area. Walking to Castle Beach and Pendennis Point Beach was easy, and the local pubs offered a great atmosphere. Mark and Erica made our stay memorable with fresh coffee and homemade goodies every morning, which we thoroughly enjoyed!
Only downside was that the evening snacks were limited. a bit more variety would have been nice after long days out exploring.

Staying here was a delight, especially enjoying the fresh homemade bread and the cozy decor in my room. The relaxing atmosphere offered perfect moments to unwind in the garden or soak in a lovely hot shower. While the road noise was a slight distraction at times, it didn’t take away from the overall charm of my stay – be sure to try the homemade snacks in your room! 😊
